Current Highlights of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020
Abstract
The Foreign Trade Policy 2015 – 2020 released by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce seeks to provide a stable and sustainable policy environment for export of goods and services. The Policy has been formulated to promote ‘Make In India’ and ‘Digital India’ initiative of the Government of India. The Policy revamped various export incentives available for export of goods and services. The five year foreign trade policy 2009-2014 has ended on March 31 2014. This policy provided fiscal incentives including that of interest subsidy and other duty neutralizations schemes. The Present studies aims at highlighting the current foreign trade policy 2015-2020.
