Pesticide residues composition of milk samples of female farm workers

Abstract


Thus, it is concluded from the study that samples collected from female farm workers contained the pesticide residues and the lactating mothers may transfer these pesticides to their offspring’s during pregnancy and lactation. Therefore, there is dire need of Integrated Pest Management and Farmers Field School program to adapt as a part of essential component of Good Agriculture Practices in Pakistan.
