Abstract

In this Investigation, the partially  replacement of cement with RHA at different percentages are 0%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5% and 15% by weight. The mix is designed for M40 grade concrete with the proportions of 1:2.2:3.72.The tests conducted on Concrete like Compressive strength & Flexural strength and they are cured in both normal water & chemical solution for 7, 28 & 56 days. For chemical curing 0.5% & 1% concentrated Sodium phosphates were used and they are compared with normal curing results. The results was shown that, By comparing normal water curing with 0.5% phosphate exposure it was observed that, the compressive strength was gradually decreased with increase in RHA percentage. By comparing normal water curing with 1% phosphate exposure it was observed that, the compressive strength was highly decreases with increase in RHA percentage.
