Malnutrition- Issues and Measures

Abstract


Malnutrition is serious challenge for the human life. Sound people play effective role in the economic development of any country. It has been rightly said that the sound brain reside in sound body. Malnutrition is that condition of human body  which results from eating the diet in which required nutrients are not present. The existence of nutrients in the diet may be either more or less. This imbalance state of nutrients causes health problems.  World Health Organisation has presented its report on malnutrition in which it has depicted that 462 million people around the world are malnourished and 159 million children at the global level are suffering from poor diet. Government of India is implementing various schemes for improving the nutritional status of people in the effective manner. People should also be aware about malnutrition issues so that they can save themselves against ill effects of malnutrition.
