Republic of South Sudan
Abstract
This paper argues that the prevailing ethnic violence in South Sudan is the spillover effect of the power competition between political leaders of those ethnic groups’, namely Salva Kiir and Riek Machar, respectively. Hence, the current crisis of the country requires a political solution.
