The Influence of Information Technology on Students’ Academic Performances

Abstract


This study about influences of information technology on students’ academic performances. The study was limited to students of faculty of commerce and management eastern university of Sri Lanka. The sample is limited to 45 management students. This technology factor was dived into three as ownership, usage, skills and students academic performance measured by the GPA of the students. At the end, the result was found that the technology usage directly influence on students’ performance than other factors. The recommendation is the university environment should encourage more technology usage in the academic activities and develop the atmosphere with technology accessible.
