Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and Women empowerment

Abstract

It is an established fact that Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar has been hailed as a prophet by the women as he struggled hard to empower the women in the society by providing them  equality and freedom. He focused his attention on the fact that women can be empowered by means of education as it is a powerful tool for their upliftment. Moreover, the women should also lead the national movement and their participation will play a significant role. Ambedkar was also of this view that all the women should participate actively in all spheres of life and in that situation the real empowerment of women will take place in the real sense of words.
