B. Nagamma, Ch. Satish

Abstract

The main aim of the project is the design, fabrication and performance analysis of a solarstill for purification of water. Solar energy has great potential for lower running costs, greater reliability and longer working life than any other source of energy, which have been generally used in remote areas. Many passive solar however were designed and developed to enhance the every day distillate output from the sun still. Energy storage medium is used to decorate the productiveness all through off sunshine hours. In the present work salt hydrate Mg (NO3)2.6H2O is used as strength garage material in a single basin unmarried slope sun nonetheless. Experimental research is accomplished within the premises of SHULTS Allahabad, U.P. India and it's miles determined that the usage of Mg (NO3)2.6H2O as energy storage medium within the sun nonetheless increases every day productiveness by using 22%
