Abstract


Existence of Trichodesma zeylanicum (Burm. f.) R. Br. reported for the first time as an addition to the flora of Allahabad district, Uttar Pradesh. Description of the plant, habitat, phenology, distribution, ecology and socio-economic importance of the species are highlighted in this paper.
