Determination of Essentials and Toxic Metals in Raw and Roasted Coffee in Bule Hora Woreda Borena Zone Ethiopia

Abstract


The determination of mineral nutrients and toxic elements, K, Mg, Ca, Mn, Cu, Zn, Cd, Pb, and Cr were made from raw and roasted coffee that are grown in Bule Hora Worda, by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (FAAS), after sample preparation in Microwave system with HNO3 and H2O2 reagents, the accuracy of the optimized procedure was evaluated by analyzing the digest of the spiked samples.
