Literature through Human Rights: Black Literature-A Compendium

Abstract


   Literature is showcasing the falsified truths. It is a tool which gives voices for the voices which are deliberately muted. History and Literature are creating rampant discourses in the academia and at the same time literature through its language is creating miracles and also giving voice for the oppressed voices which the history books cannot do. The society today is being fragmented and people mourn the differences instead of celebrating it. Human Rights in the present scenario is said to be the eye opener for the victimized voices and the beauty of literature is that it foregrounds the truth and it also vehemently protests against the institutions which the human rights can do but not like the literary artists .
