Abstract

Internet of things is a concept of communications between multiple devices equipped with sensors and actuators for the purpose of convenience and economic benefits. In connection with the rapid development of IoT concept it becomes necessary to use those or other instruments for the control and management of IoT. Considered scenario is based on the interaction between the central element (ARDUINO), which ensures the connection of various sensors and actuators within a smart home. Automation is the use of control systems and information technologies to reduce the need for human work in the production of goods and services. In the scope of industrialisation, automation is a step beyond mechanization. In this paper we analyse the communication protocols that are used to transfer the data from Arduino to sensors. HTTP protocol, which is the most common in data exchange between hardware and the server.
