Global Education Policy: A Review

Abstract

This Review is an attempt to understand how education policies around the globe have been influenced by the global events that took place in the 20^th century. The chapter tries to construct how the idea of global education policy has evolved, the factors that shaped it, the actors involved in shaping such a policy, and the political and economic reasons behind the motives of these actors to come up with such a policy.
