Assessment of the roles and constraints of women in the economic development of Ethiopia the case of Ambo Town since nineteen ninety one
Abstract
This paper highlights the roles of women in the economic development of Ethiopia and their constraints. Women, as half of the populations play a major role in the economic development of Ethiopia but they face a number of constraints even their role in the economy and in the different sectors has often been under estimated. Moreover, women in Ethiopia or anywhere else in developing countries occupy the low states in the society and their contributions have never been adequately recognized.
