A note on mineral wealth of Cuddapah district

Abstract


The Cuddapah District (Area 15,380 Sq.Km) stretches from the Seshachalam Range of Parnapalli – Vempalli area to the Velikonda Range in the east, and from 20Kms south of Giddalur to near Tirumala in the south-east. Geologically the district is occupied by th precambrain sedimentary formation f the Cuddapah Super Group.
