Abstract

As said by Jane Austen  “Give a girl an education and introduce her properly into the world, and ten to one but she has the means of settling well, without further expense to anybody.”
Women empowerment is the process of enabling and developing ability or potential in women so that they can think and act freely, exercises their choice and control their lives and thereby reducing discrimination and exploitation towards them. It is the process for women to redefine gender roles that allows for them to acquire the ability to choose between known alternatives that have otherwise been restricted from such ability.                                        Recently Mrs. Suparna Some, from Khowai District, Agartala came into notice who found a proper way to utilize her education without getting mentally depressed. And she ultimately did it with grand success. Our main purpose of the study is to spread the idea that if a woman possesses a strong willpower and self confidence she can get success in any difficult situation also.
