Sikhism: A Quest for Human Dignity

Abstract


The quest for human dignity is deeply rooted in the Sikh socio-spiritual and political thought. Sikh Gurus had restored the human dignity, self-respect and self-confidence of demoralized masses in the darkest hours of history of humankind. Human dignity is a central theme of their divine compositions.
