Molokhia- The Wealth for a Better Health

Abstract


Molokhia also spelled as mloukhiya, molokhia, molohiya, mulukhiyya, malukhiya is the leaves of corchorus species commonly utilized in Egyptian and Middle Eastern cuisine. The Arabic name of the dish, molokhia, is a derivative of the word mulukiya – which literally means ‘kingly’, or “of the kings.
