The Implications of Green Revolution on Punjab In context to Agriculture
Abstract
The Green Revolution was a period of technological advancement in agriculture between 1943 and the late 1970s. Many developing countries like India were exposed to the ideologies of the Green Revolution and it was having a great success in many nations for the increased production of grains due to new irrigation techniques, fertilizers and seed technology.
