Religion and Politics in Graham Greenes Brighton Rock

Abstract

Graham Greene is one of the most daring and pioneering novelists of the twentieth century. Most of his creative works are prodigiously best-selling and examine typical religio-political matters of the modern world. This paper, fundamentally, points out Greene’s religious and political prospects which are woven together in his first Catholic novel ‒ Brighton Rock. In this novel, he has tried to form an agreement between the two remarkable currents ‒ religion and politics.
