Failed Black Patriarchy in Afro-American Society in Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye
Abstract
Toni Morrison’s Black male characters have been pushed towards periphery by deriding them of all patriarchal roles. It has been noticed that Morrison female characters emerge as dynamic on socio-economic front and male characters have been shown as failures in fulfilling their social, economic or any other responsibility.
