Factors Contributing To Risk for Young People Substance Drug Use and Harm Reduction

Abstract

Harm reduction is an umbrella term for interventions aiming to reduce the problematic effects of behaviors. Although harm reduction was originally and most frequently associated with substance use, it is increasingly being applied to a multitude of other behavioral disorders. The result indicated of study that individually focused and group-based interventions (school-based drugs education and prevention, family, mass media campaigns, motivational interviewing, and communities, workplace, government policies and services, and the broader economic and social environment which all affect that may contribute to the onset of substance use among adolescents.
