An ANFIS Based MPPT Method Combining Fractional Order Controller for Photovoltaic Array System

Abstract

In this paper, a fractional-order ANFIS (FO-ANFIS) method for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) in a photovoltaic (PV) system is presented. By combining the robustness of ANFIS with the accuracy of fractional order, the proposed method can improve the tracking accuracy in weather variations compared with the conventional fuzzy MPPT.The MPPT technique helps to trim down by means of only one voltage sensor, while increases the array power efficiency and MPPT response time.
