Modes of Operation and System-Level Control of Single-Phase Bidirectional PWM Converter for Microgrid Systems
Abstract
Robust system control design and consistent transition between different methods of operation are vital for multifunctional converters in micro-grid systems. This paper proposes a con-trol system for single-phase bidirectional PWM converters for private power level micro-grid systems which is robust and can endure transitions between the distinctive methods of operation. This is accomplished by methods for a typical internal air conditioning current-loop. Every one of the working modes has a separately designed external loop playing out the relating control assignments, most usually including the air conditioner voltage and the dc voltage direction.
