The Cultural Influence of the Persian Community in Iraq

Abstract


The research concluded several results that can be summarized below

 The Iraqi-Persian cultural relations under Ottoman rule in Iraq have a great influence on the growth and development of knowledge in Iraq because of the exchange of ideas between the two countries. Iranian communities played a major role in spreading culture through the establishment of printing presses and publishing books, which in turn contributed to increasing cultural awareness in the cities of Iraq. The cross-fertilization of ideas between the Iraqi and Persian cultures played a major role in raising national awareness against the Ottoman Empire.
