Abstract

Blood vessel in retinal image plays a vital role inmedical diagnosis of many diseases. Diabeticretinopathy is one of the diseases which damages theretina and leads to blindness. Segmentation of bloodvessels is helpful for ophthalmologists and this paperpresents a new automatic method to extract bloodvessels with high accuracy.
