Applications of Laplace Transform

Abstract

An introduction to Laplace Transform is the topic of this paper. It deals with what Laplace Transform is and what is actually used for. This paper also included a brief overview of Inverse Transform. Laplace Transform plays very important role in the field of science and engineering. It is particularly useful in solving initial value problems involving linear ordinary differential equation with constant coefficient. This paper will discuss Laplace Transform of derivatives in solving initial value problems having discontinuous function in the area of electric circuit.
