Abstract

The article is devoted to the formation of the competence of a foreign language teacher in the use of information and communication technologies. It substantiates the relevance of this problem, proposes definitions of the concepts “ICT competency” and “ICT competency” of a foreign language teacher, identifies the content of the training and determines the structure of the ICT competency of the teacher and develops criteria for assessing the level of its formation.
