Semantic Features Of Verbs Of Mental Activity

Abstract

The article gives a comprehensive and clear idea of the current understanding of verbs with the meaning of mental activity.  Mental activity occupy a special place in lexical system of language  since it is in their semantics that the whole complex thought process including the content of thought, communicative aspect and their assessment.  The authors propose  is to establish and systematize the semantic features of English verbs of mental activity.
