Abstract


Varicose veins of the lower extremities are one of the most common forms of peripheral vascular pathology. The problem of varicose veins of the lower extremities which arose in women in connection with pregnancy and childbirth, has not been completely resolved. The purpose of our article is to study the effect of varicose veins on the course and outcome of pregnancy, the effectiveness of the complex treatment of varicose veins of the lower extremities in pregnant women, both by improving conservative therapy and by developing optimal timing and volume of the surgical correction method.
