Abstract

New conceptual horizons allow us to revise existing approaches to the analysis of relations between society and the state and analyze them in the context of systemic socio-economic and political processes. This article describes the basic approaches that explain the phenomenon of civil society and the development of democratic political culture values and analyzes the scientific literature. It also discusses the ideological burden of the concept of civil society in the public consciousness on the basis of identifying the factors that affect the social processes of the concept of civil society.
