Microwave Assisted Synthesis, Characterization, and Antibacterial Activity of NovelNi(II) Zn(II) Cd(II) Ag(II) Metal Complexes with Bidentate Schiff base Ligand

Abstract


Few new metal complexes ofNi(II),Zn((II),Cd(II),Ag(I), and Schiff base(derived from 2-aminobenzimidazole and syringaldehyde) by using Scientific Microwave. The Schiff base and its metal complexes are characterized by elemental analysis, electronic spectra, Infrared1HNMR,  LC-MS and thermal analysis. TheSchiff base and metal complexes show aexcellent  antimicrobial activity against Gram positive bacteria such as streptococcus Aureus Gram negatitive bacteria such as Escherichia Coli, and salmonella Typhi
