Implementation Of ICT In Developing Listening Comprehension Of Preschool Children In English

Abstract


The article analyzes issues related to developing listening comprehension of preschool children in English by using of ICT.  Listening is a skill in a sense that it's a related but distinct process than hearing which involves merely perceiving sound in a passive way while listening occupies an active and immediate analysis of the streams of sounds. In common the word “speech” means speaking, listening, reading and writing. The process of getting knowledge has sensitive and logical sides. These qualities come together is listening. During the period of primary school age, all spheres of the child's development are intensively developed and qualitatively rebuilt: his daily routine is changing, relations with new social groups are being built; teaching becomes the leading activity. All basic cognitive processes are also undergoing changes: thinking, memory, attention, perception, imagination. The author analyzed the research and commentary of researchers on the issue of how to develop listening comprehension skills in preschool children and presented them in this article.
