Pay Satisfaction and Turnover Intention among Millennial Employees

Abstract


In the realm of industry and organization, pay satisfaction was suspected to correlate with turnover intention. This study aims to measure empirically the relationship between pay satisfaction and turnover intention among millennial employees. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. This study used turnover intention scale and pay satisfaction scale to measure the turnover intention and pay satisfaction among participants. This study involved 88 millennial employees as participants. Pearson product moment correlation is used to test the hypothesis in this research. The results of this study showed that pay satisfaction was negatively correlated with turnover intention among millennial employees. The higher the pay satisfaction, the lower the turnover intention among millennial employees.
