Determinants of Teacher Turnover in Private Schools- A Case of Kisii County Kenya

Abstract


A survey questionnaire was used to collect data, and analysis was through descriptive statistics. The results indicated high turnover of teachers with poor remuneration, industry dynamics, competition and poaching, a non-responsive management and poor leadership being the main causes of high turnover; with no immediate remedial plans.
