Monitoring and Controlling the Construction Project by Project Management Information System

Abstract

In order to surmount current information management and communication deficiencies, more emphasis should be given to information technology tools. The objectives of the paper are to develop a data base system for document management and controlling the project through web management. For this a construction project has been undertaken to investigate how the use of Internet based construction information management systems could be encouraged and facilitated.
