Understanding Franz Fanon- Colonialism and its Aftermaths
Abstract
This paper analyses Fanon’s appropriation of that Hegelian strand of thought and outlines Fanon’s understanding of the ontological dimension of decolonisation. Further, it goes on to explore the link between such an ontology and Fanon’s exhortations of violence which become a prerequisite for a genuine process of decolonisation to take place.
