Design and CFD Analysis of Vertical Axis Ocean Turbine Blade

Abstract


In this project we are going to modelling general present day ocean turbine blade by using CATIA and in addition, finite element software blade, configuration when subjected to general boundary conditions and loads to examine its velocity flow reliability. Results from the CFD FLUIENT analysis revealed that the best design provides adequate pressure and produce the proposed velocity without any back pressure failure.
