Abstract

Medical imaging is a vital component of a large number of applications. MRI is the state-of the-art medical imaging technology, which allows cross sectional view of the body with unprecedented tissue contrast. The information that MRI provides has greatly increased knowledge of normal and diseased anatomy for medical research, and is a critical component in diagnosis and treatment planning.
