Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study the energy efficient reliable routing protocol. performance of an energy efficient routing protocol, called EE-AODV (Energy Efficient on AODV) which derives from the AODV protocol and which is based on the local decisions of intermediate stations to maintain the connectivity of the network as long as possible. In this routing protocol we set a certain energy level i.e. called threshold energy if any node energy is less than this threshold level then another path is chosen for data transmission and this node is going to ideal. The performance parameters which we are studying in this paper are Throughput, Total Packet Received, Drop Packet Ratio and Average End to End Delay.
