A Survey of Evolutionary Approaches for Information Retrieval

Abstract


The survey paper attempts to explain the use of various Evolutionary approaches which can be used to optimize and enhance the Information Retrival System (IRS) performance. The paper describes the types of Evolutionary Approaches and their application in Information Retrieval. Comparison of various approaches is done to give a clarity where each approach can be applied to get better results.
