Abstract


Digital Image Processing(DIP) which is a field under Image Processing may be subdivided into the following categories: restoration, enhancement, coding, and understanding. The objective is to obtain a symbolic description of the scene, leading to autonomous machine reasoning and perception and to enhance the image for purpose of human interpretation and improving visual appearance.
