Morphometric Analysis of WRY-2 sub- watershed using Remote Sensing Data and GIS Technique in Wardha District of Maharashtra, India

Abstract


Morphometric analysis of a highland sub-watershed (WRY-2) area was carried out using remote sensing and geographic information system (GIS) techniques. Detailed drainage map of the area was prepared from the high resolution satellite image and Survey of India (SOI) toposheets which was updated using LISS-III analog data.
