Abstract


This research papers seeks to highlight the humanistic elements in the mystical voyage of Walt Whitman and relating to the same to Indian conditions in the post postmodern era.  The world in which Walt Whitman lived, and the world we inhabit today, are no doubt different, yet, essentially, there is no difference. Differences are illusory.
