Understanding the role of Nutritional Intervention Programme on Cognitive Development: An Experimental study of Adolescent girls
Abstract
Role of Nutrition education in human beings health has been emphasized all through the available literature. However, there are very few studies which has explored the role of nutrition and cognitive development. This paper looks into the dynamics of nutrition from the vantage point of socio-institutional structure and traces the linkages between nutrition and cognitive development through experimental method. The study finds positive relationship between the two and gives an insight into role of intervention programme and their effectivity. The study raises the question of missing concern of adolescent girls at policy level.
