Abstract

Language testing is one of the significant procedures and in language teaching and learning that provides information for teachers and learners and reflects their dev elopment in these processes. The teacher utilizes classroom methods and techniques that derive the knowledge of the process of language learning and the interaction between the teacher and the learners, and this can influence testing. Also, aspects of language that are tested to find their ways into the teaching program. This is known as washback.
