A Novel Robust Adaptive Decomposition for Audio Watermarking Based On EMD

SALMAN MOAZZAM GHULAM AKBAR

Abstract

Audio watermarking is one of the considerable work under research. In conventional approach usage of the Empirical mode decomposition (EMD) based on synchronization codes and IMFs is done to watermark the desired content in lossless behavior but high BER is the major limitation in this approach. In this paper, a new algorithm based on wavelet packets is proposed which produces the low bit error rate and the proposed algorithm embedding rate is 46.958.3 b/s, which is more than the conventional EMD approach. Finally, we show the robustness efficiency of the hidden watermark for additive noise re-quantization, MP3 compression,, filtering, cropping and re-sampling. A comparison analysis shows that our proposed framework has high end performance than the other watermarking schemes proposed recently in the literature.
