Abstract


Poppet engine valve is a precision engine component whose functionality is to seal the working space inside the cylinder against manifolds by continuously opening and closing of valve according to valve timing diagram due to which it is subjected to fluctuating stress and as a result of which it tends to fail due to fatigue.
