Abstract


Colostrum  is important for promoting health , growth and development of newborn and fighting the infections. The momentous role it plays in sustaining baby’s well being is poorly understood due to socio-economic dynamics among people of Rahim yar khan. Existence of false beliefs and practices about colostrum feeding led to development of this study.
