A survey on secure and distributed data discovery and dissemination protocols in WSNs

Abstract

A wireless sensor network is a wireless network consisting of spatially distributed autonomous devices using sensors to monitor the environmental or physical conditions. A WSN system incorporates a gateway that provides wireless connectivity back to the wired world and distributed nodes. In Wireless Sensor Network, the security of data and confidentiality of data is an important aspect. A data discovery and dissemination protocol for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is responsible for updating configuration parameters  and distributing management commands to the sensor nodes.
